 Hire a site planner to get layout right the first time (Ventura County Star)
It's the tail wagging the dog when they call me for design services after they build the house. I'm forced to create a site plan and landscape that is second rate because the house is not optimally positioned on the lot. Sure, we can create something that works and looks OK, but it will never be truly great. Why? Because site planning should be done before you build anything.
