Church growing garden for community's benefit (News Transcript)

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP — Fresh fruits and vegetables are flowering in the recently planted community garden at the Bethel AME Church, Waterworks Road. Church volunteers have been working diligently for the last month — clearing, digging and tilling the soil on a plot of ground behind the church for what is being dubbed the Bethel Victory Garden.
